A few days before this gig I got a pack of Finch stickers to give away, they had a bit of a tear away stub to get peoples emails to collect to a fan mailing list.
Also got their album as payment to do this, already had it
but this had a bonus track on so gave the one I had a way. Not sure how I got
on to doing this but was the only time I did.
Don't recall giving many stickers away!
Brand New opened and were ok until Jesse the singer took a hissy fit on stage and walked off. He either took a fit as someone let off a stink bomb (maybe shit their pants?!) and the smell was really bad, or the band wasn't playing as good as they could!
Enjoyed Finch's set, did find it funny when the guitarist moaned some lass in Newcastle slapped him as he called her a cunt...
There was an incident before any band did play which is worth mentioning as it sorta continues into the gig I went to after this one. Me and my mate were near to the front just before the barrier, there was a lass leaning on the barrier but kept like push back and elbowing my mate which was getting on her nerves. Mate pushed back and the lass ended up hitting her face off the barrier and breaking her nose! Just saw this small ginger lass and her lanky ass boyfriend quickly leave the front as she was holding her face with blood going everywhere!
