Some lovely music from Finland!
Islaja also known as Merja Kokkonen is an composer, performer from Finland but lives in Berlin. Once described her a Finnish Bjork which is a bit unfair as both are awesome in their own ways. Islaja combines a bit of folk with electronic and slight drones, recommend checking out the track Ihmispuku.
Nearly spoilt her set as took a photo on my phone and it bleeped! At the time I had a Samsung phone and you couldn't turn the bleep flash off, this was done due to loads of Koreans upskirting people which to be fair is a good idea to have!
Tomutonttu was some mad but interesting music, or as a mate called it when he walked out, "some Willy Wonka shit!".
I enjoyed it, enough so I picked up some CDs of his!
