This gig was supposed to happen earlier or maybe in 2002, anyway Less Than Jake had a ton of key fobs made saying LTJ hearts the UK as a sorry we postponed gift.
Thought that was pretty cool of them at the time.
While in the queue, I ended up behind the lanky dude from
the Finch gig and overheard him say to his mates how he was gutted he had to
miss Finch as he had to take his lass to hospital with a broken nose!
This gig was a nice mix of ska and pop punk, few circle pits
during Less Than Jake's set!
Did get offered a beer off the basis of the Pietasters as he
saw my Minor Threat shirt and told me he knew Ian McKaye and asked f I was
straight edge, felt a bit like I was getting groomed!
Twenty years on, I'd probably still go see Less Than Jake
again!
