A weekend of weird and out there music spread between the Cluny and the Star and Shadow Cinema!
I'll just list the groups I really liked, the whole weekend was ace though!
Grouper was fantastic, and similar act Natural Snow Buildings. Both nice and gentle music, a bit spoiled by people talking over them which kinda sucked.
Rhys Chatham set was interesting, with his guitar orchestra all playing in C I think?!
Space sythn stuff from Pulse Emitter was out of this world and I loved Purling Hiss's stoner rock!
Pretty sure an ambulance got called during Alvarius B's set as some lad from Belgium was so drunk, saw him being carried across the floor! I assume the ambulance was for him when I left!
One thing that was a bit shit is that Foot Hair never got mentioned in the Wire, where every other band that played did which I thought was a bit shocking!
Oh and over hearing Chris Forstyth and his drummer talking about some of the lasses at the fest was horrible!
