29.04.2003 - Jesse James/Captain Everything/Chowderboy - Newcastle University

Bit of ska-punk and pop punk at the Globe part of Newcastle University!!!

Jesse James were from London I think. Around this time they had been pumping out a couple of EP's and were popular due to their song, "Shoes", which in hindsight now is a fucking awful song with such a horrible line that kind of goes, "that look you have when I cum on your face".

Sure also during their set I may have bust someone’s nose by mistake or hit them in the pit?! I did say sorry and was no trouble...

Captain Everything were class, their third album*, "It's Not Rocket Science" still gets played today.

I assume Chowderboy were named after the sidekick of Orgasmo from the film of the same name. Local ska punk band and were pretty decent, decent enough I bought their CD I might have to dig out at some point.

Also want to say, I'm sure this may have been the first gig I saw someone get removed for underage drinking?

*say third album as sure they had an album out that got released by MP3.com, an old skool version of bandcamp from the 2000's?!
