The Movielife were really good, could have done without being gobbed on by their guitarist during their set!
One thing that sticks out for me is Vinnie mentioning they
had Sammy Siegler on drums as their drummer couldn't do the Euro dates for some
reason. He asked the crowd if they had heard of Project X, which I found funny
as out of all the bands Sammy has played in that was a weird one to mention in
that they only had a 7" out and most the crowd wouldn't have heard of them
or more likely been 4 or 5 when it came out. I know I was only 4 when it came
out! Like could have mentioned, Youth of Today, Bold or even Rival Schools
etc...
I wasn't too keen on Piebald, but they seem to and still do have a big following. Sort of mid-west emo?
I liked Vendetta Red, had a track on a Kerrang CD that was really good, though never got round to picking any of their albums up. From my hazy memory I'm sure I compared them once to a less chaotic At The Drive-in.
