03.03.2003- Anti-Flag/Five Knuckle/ZSK - Newcastle University

This was supposed to be in the Globe part of the uni but got moved to the basement. This was due to Justin Sane having an allergy to cigarette smoke and back in 2003 people were still allowed to smoke inside venues which may seem crazy nowadays to some people!

Also makes me wonder how no one ever got accidentally burnt by someone’s lit cig!

Anti-Flag were a political punk band, they were alright, just not great what Justin Sane did later on which lead to the band disbanding!

Five Knuckle were from Bristol and were always great live, left us with two albums and some EP's, need to check but two of the members I thought were twin brothers but believe they were not, just looked like each other’s double! Not sure if any of them went on to do anything else after Five Knuckle.

ZSK, not 100% but they may have been from Germany, a bit like Anti-Flag but they seemed to have more energy. They did a decent cover of Passenger by Iggy Pop.

Being a saddo I was and still am, got my ticket signed by 3/4's of Anti-Flag!
