01.07.2010 - Catheter/Ramming Speed/Drunk In Hell/End Now/Obey - The Northumberland Arms, Newcastle

Kind of a mixed bill here, I guess.

Grindcore from Catheter who have been in the game a while, seem to have a ton of releases out and still going I think.

Ramming Speed were shite a poor Municipal Waste clone I thought. There may have been a bit of an incident with the drummer as someone stood on the bass drum and maybe broke it?

Drunk in Hell, probably the finest noise rock to come out of Middlesborough. Imagine Brainbombs but from real people who lived real grim lives.

More noise rock in the form of End Now, another band I saw a couple of times and then just vanished, though thankfully many years later we did get some material released on a tape by Cruel Nature.

Obey were another local band, sure they had something to do with the people in Foothair, may have been a bit black metal?!

Another hot night at the Lubberfiend on a Sunday! Don't really know much about Modern Heaven, they are a duo from Melbourne, Australia...
