30.05.2009 - The Shining/Jinn/Sawn Off/Brain Worm/Seed & Soil/Sense Offender/Verbs and Nouns - The Cooperage, Newcastle

Some more Dutch thrash punk with the Shining who were similar to Waking the Dead. They did share a split LP at one point.

Was Sawn Off's reunion gig, class local fast d-beat crust punk, Brain Worms were similar, think they had members of older local bands like Mortal Terror?

Do know that the Beast stripped to his g string for this gig and his mates had written all over his face in marker pen!

Sense Offender and Verb & Nouns were two other local bands, playing hardcore. Both weren't around long, sure the singer of Verbs made a speech about how he was leaving and I thought just get on with it man cos I don't care!
