27.03.2005 - Reproach/Walk The Plank/50 On Red/Face Defeat/Nothing Left - The Fenton, Leeds

The first of many "away day" gigs, driving down to a gig and driving back on the same day!

Second time in Leeds to go to the Fenton, decent place and still believe putting gigs on today(?).

Will mention the bands that are "new" unless anything pops in my mind about a set.

Reproach are a Belgian fastcore band maybe thrash punk? They are fast and very good!

Walk the Plank was a Pirate themed hardcore band though didn't dress up like them, ex-members of various bands, Lecky was in Voorhees. 

They were class, Lecky did moan about the "toy" microphone, which I'm sure someone went oooooooo!

Face Defeat were canny too, Grimsby hardcore, do have a 7" by them somewhere or I should have, I did end up buying a copy of the Face Up 7" mistaking it for them!

One of the lads we went down with, Joel, canny kid from Luxemburg got changed into a 1970's style footballer strip for Reproach’s set, wish I had taken a camera as it was funny as hell!
