Regina was great, we were in the standing part of the Sage's main hall which in hindsight was a mistake as my back was killing after standing for so long.
Could have done without the group in front of us singing along as it slightly drowned Regina out, later found out she had lost one of her band mates hence why there was an empty chair on stage and she was very quiet between songs and even singing in parts.
A bloke in front of the group had asked them to be quiet and once the show ended, he had a right go at them, "I've paid to see Regina sing, not you!", argument carried on into the foyer!
Nicole Atkins was decent, solo artist, mix of her playing piano and guitar, did pick up her debut album but never got round to her others!
