Only time I had ever been in this pub, it's now or was turned into a jewellers shop, though could possibly be a coffee shop?!
Restless Youth were a Dutch hardcore band and they were really great, ended up seeing them every time they hit Newcastle up!
I'm not too sure about Draw Blank but believe they were from Belgium, playing a similar style of hardcore to Restless Youth, though think a lot of the Euro hardcore bands round this time were like youth crew style?
Don't think they did much else bar from the demo tape I picked up.
Local lads Jinn were great, they were still a three piece and had already done a couple of split LPs round this time. Grind/Powerviolence'ish stuff.
Not sure where Nothing Left were from but think this was their first or second gig, aggro hardcore, absolutely class and think with a couple of over bands were staples of the NEHC scene.
Missed out on the Demo tape but have CDr of it though no clue to what the track titles are! They later became Search & Destroy and put out one very very good 7" before breaking up.
