This was an incredible gig, felt as if the venue got fuller each time the first two bands played until there was hardly any room to move!
The Star and Shadow was while it was in Byker a great venue and was always a good time to be had here.
Jazzfinger opened up with a cracking set, shame there was hardly anyone here to see them! By the time Foot Hair played it was starting to fill out.
Then when Melt played it just went crazy, at one point could see Ben from Jazzfinger in the middle of the crowd just going for it and enjoying their set!
Awesome jap noise rock pop everything! Have missed them the last couple of times they have been back due to gig clashes.
I did have a spare ticket for this gig as was supposed to go with a mate, had asked if they wanted to go and they were like yeah that will be cool. Told me to meet them after work but turns out they had buggered off to Edinburgh with some random bloke from Thailand and didn't think to let me know or reply to my text!
