I'm writing this a week after seeing Fucked Up for the sixth time in Newcastle, have tried to see them every time they played up here. Didn't see them when they supported Gallows as I wasn't a fan of Gallows!
Every time since this gig they mention it every time how great this gig was and it was like!
Didn't seem like there were many people here but seems ever since I've heard people say they were despite not being old enough or just lying! I like to think of it as the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club!
Think this was just before they dropped Hidden World which seemed to divide a lot of people who were more used to the singles they released as it was more longer songs and maybe seen a less hardcore/punk...
Can't remember much about Disfunction, maybe doom crust? And think 52 Pick Up were a psychobilly band?
This may have been Fuck That's first gig of mental grind/noisecore, in all a nice mix bill of bands!
