17.02.2011 - Our Love Will Destroy the World/Foot Hair/Culver - The Northumberland Arms, Newcastle

Really enjoyed this gig, had been listening to a lot of OLWDTW and his previous outing Birchville Cat Motel. Campbell's set was dreamlike, the whole sound of the drone he was making engulfed the Northy.

Though nearly he didn't play as during Foot Hair's set there was a power cut! Think it turned out to be a fuse tripping and a easy fix.

First time also seeing Culver play, legendary drone master of the North East!

I had a recording of this gig I recorded on my Sony MP3 player I had at the time; the sound was too intense for the mic on the recorder that the sets are unlistenable to!
