This was to start round 1/2pm however a couple of bands pulled out, so doors were later. I didn't find out till I got there for 1/2pm!

None the less really great show and first time at the Chillingham Arms in Heaton. Always found weird that some people that lived near the pub complained about the noise when bands played which wasn't often, but they live on a busy main road, in a student area and they have the train and metro lines near them!
Diseased Maggotectomy were (still are?!) like an avant garde grindcore band which had so many members over the years it seemed they always sounded different when I saw them.
Helios were a trio that ended up evolving into Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaind, don't think they played many gigs though wish they had recorded or put something out as they were fantastic.
Lavotchkin played metalcore, guess similar to early Bring Me The Horizon, not my thing but they were good at what they did.
Can't recall Lakes, maybe from Leeds? Think they had a keyboard player?!
Krupskaya were from Stoke, played a blackened crust punk grindcore, their first LP is worth checking out.
War All The Time, Leeds d-beat made up of dudes that have played in so many good bands.
Was nice to see the Horror again!
