Ilan Volkov is an Israeli conductor, when he played with Wax Magnetic I'm sure he was playing the violin along with Mariam using her turntable and Posset doing what he does best!
Sure Mines Trio was a project of Ilan's but can't seem to find any info about them! Again, I want to say they were playing violins, maybe cello? I remember thinking it was good and as always something different to watch and hear.
