Went to the Surf Cafe with me mate Rob and Rich to see this.
Johne Thornton and Nick Reeves were locals, knew Johne sort of from when he worked in the Exchange, he should have been living in China as when he left the Exchange that was where he was heading, but think he said he had been scammed and the people he had organised everything with were criminals and if he had went he may have ended in prison there?!
Nick's set was good, one song had a funny line of, "when David Bowie's teeth were not straight" or something like that!
The Laurie Shepherd Band I think were a folk band? They were ok, wouldn't go out my way to see them again like!
Sapien Trace, felt like a vanity project by a very camp bloke! They describe themselves as a synthwave electro rock band.
Not my thing but very entertaining to watch!
