Another long weekend of Tusk Fest!
As like the year before, bit more Tusk Fringes across Gateshead and Newcastle.
My faves of the weekend:
Irreversible Entanglements - jazz with Moor Mother singing.
Craig Leon playing Nommos live was excellent, one of the volunteers from work was playing with him on cello which was pretty cool!
Kazehito Seki set was short but amazing, he had some sort of suit on with pads that help create the noise he was doing, wild!
Otomo Yoshihide set of turntablism and then guitar noise was canny.
Wrest x Yol was hilarious when someone from the Star and Shadow tried to stop thinking it was a fight!
Sarah Davachi played a nice ambient set.
Was great to see the legend Terry Riley play, a few people seemed upset that his set was him and his son and not like a set of In C or A Rainbow in Curved Air.
