Hoults Yard was just outside of the City, maybe between Byker and Walker. Was a warehouse and I don't think they do gigs here anymore, though could be wrong.
When I think about it, it's probably more near the Ouseburn then anything!
Legendary Swans were great, really enjoyed their set and had a few older friends telling me how loud they were when they played the Riverside in the late 80's!
They were not loud here thankfully!
Jenny Hval was ok, at the time I wasn't into it but have found her albums alright over the years when I have listened to them.
Only downside to this gig was it was heaving inside and so humid, my friend thought she was gonna pass out.
Picked up a nice tour t-shirt I only wore once as too scared to wash it in case it shrank!
