An away day to Edinburgh with Tide of Iron!
I was ill as fuck and nearly bailed but thought fuck it and went, I was ok!
We had a wonder round Edinburgh for a bit, I got a pasta pie and got massively short changed cos Scottish money is printed by two banks and a twenty by one bank must look like a ten from the other bank!
Had a nice trip round one of the museums and then headed back to Dan from Dune's gaff for some veggie chilli before heading to the venue.
Venue was like a squat in the old walls/buildings of Edinburgh, sure if was down from the Banshee pub. It stank and when I went for a piss nearly put my bad foot through the floor!
Dune were great, great prog metal!
Starve was a Dutch stoner rock band which I found funny much later as their singer used to sing in A Step Apart! Also their drummer, showered like 3 times before we left to go to the venue!
A good night, mean a long day as we drove up and back on the same night! Wouldn't mind doing it again with any band if they need a hand with selling shit etc...
