I nearly didn't come to this as I was hanging a bit from the Bong gig! I was fine just a bit rough and lucky that the Newbridge didn't sell booze!
Heatsick is Steven Warwick who used to be in Birds of Delay. Think he has retired Heatsick to release stuff under his real name. His style definitely changed over the year, the first early tapes I have of him are more droney and noisy, kinda of like the stuff he did with Birds. When I saw him play it was more like house/techno, just him and a casio keyboard with drum pads and maybe a couple of pedals. It was good like so no complaints from me.
Yong Yong returned to Newcastle and another great set by them, I think later in the night when they were out on town with some people from the gig, some bastard stole one of their bags which had their gear in it.
