05.02.2025 - Glare/Sunnbrella - The Cluny, Newcastle

Been wanting to see Glare for a while after finding them in a youtube rabbithole.

From Texas they play shoegaze music and it's pretty decent. They are now a 4 piece with a member leaving about a month before this tour.

Live they were great, and don't think they really lost anything from not having a third guitarist.

Picked up their 7", which was pricey at £10! Though most vinyl is getting pricey nowadays, got it signed as well, thought might as well!

Sunnbrella are from London, played like a dream pop/shoegaze style. I wasn't really into it; mean it did have the feel of the 90's to it and they could have sound tracked a 90's indie film.
